Matthew W. Hurton graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2020, receiving his B.A. in Criminology, and maintaining a minor in Greek Archaeology. It was there that he discovered his urge to enter the legal field, intending to help others navigate its nuances and complexities. Matthew received his Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Memorial University, Duncan School of Law in 2023. While attending law school, he clerked for a private firm handling several cases involving probate as well as civil litigation.
This blended experience provided an understanding of the overlapping fields of law that commonly entangle themselves. Matthew currently acts as a legal clerk for the firm while his Bar results from Tennessee are pending.
Matthew enjoys spending his time playing pickleball, tennis, golf, and board games. He also loves going to parks and festivals with his wife, Mary, and two golden retrievers, Ralph and Honey. Lastly, Matthew loves travelling: he has spent a month in Greece, and plans to continue travelling abroad.
